Hi and welcome to the New York State Gold Site and NYS Gold Prospectors. This site is also made to cover other Northeast states.

There is a little of everything for everyone, from gold prospecting to metal detecting, and other outdoor activities.

I started this site in 2007 as a small free site, and has grown to what it is today.

I got into gold prospecting back in 1999 and joined several other gold sites. I'm active in several gold sites, most notably the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the GPAA and the Ohio State Prospectors Assoc.
