Hi, and welcome to the New York State Gold Site, and NYS Gold Prospectors. This site is also made to cover other Northeast states.

There is a little of everything for everyone, from gold prospecting to metal detecting, and other outdoor activities.

I started this site in 2006 as a small free site, and has grown to what it is today. .

I got into gold prospecting back in 2000 and joined several other gold sites. I'm active in several sites from the Wisconsin site to the Virginia site and also the ohio gold prospectors association site. Please feel free to visit these site. you will meet some of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.
